The last week we had or presentations about each of the tools that the teacher asked as to prepare the last week so we had to present a tool of Web 2.0 infron of the class. While some students were presenting their tool the rest of the class had to take note and fill a handout with the definition of the tool, the use of it, the problems that it has and solutions for this problem and finally provide an example besides my partner's examples about how to use that tool in the classroom.
We present the following tools:
Twitter: It is a social online service that is use to send and read text-based posts those are name tweets. People can communicate around the word because it is a web social that helps people to share ideas, comments and opinions.
Google Maps: It is a web site where we can observe and find some addresses and places in the world. It is an application that can be used to plan a route. Also, it provides pictures that are taken by a satellite.
Podcasts: this application helps to distribute multimedia files such as video or audio. People can download audios and videos to listen whenever they want without have a subscription. Also, users can include a text and notes as subtitles.
Authorstream: It is a free plugin for Microsoft Power Point 2007. It is used to upload and share pictures and videos from YouTube in your PPT. You can share your PPT online because it doesn’t work without internet connection.
Wikispaces: This is a web site that could be edited by some authors. In a class is very useful for teachers because they can provide for their students and their parents information related to the class like: send homework, create discussions and feedback for students.
Mappy Friends: It is a platform for people's social recommendations about places around the world. You can share and find places based on your friend’s recommendations.
http://www.flickr.com/ : It is an online photo management. It is use to keep, organize, find and share photos and videos online. You can create videos with your own photographs and edit them to create slides very organized.

K12 Lesson plans: It is a website that enhances communication with students and parents with the teacher. You as teacher can create image galleries, online quizzes, parent e-mail list and event calendar. So, it serves as a very way to communicate.
Podomatic: It is a free service on the Internet that permits you to create your web/blog. Besides that you have the opportunity to join files and record or store new podcasts.
WebQuests: The Web Quest is a tool that forms part of an encyclopedia for educational work. The Internet promotes researches for students so this tool offers a lot of information about educational topics. It helps to encourage the use of cooperative work and autonomy of students and includes authentic assessment.
Dokeos: Dokeos is a Free Software for Enterprise Learning Management and Resource Management Education. It encourage communication because it offers a lot of options in its platform some of them like: forums, quizzes, messages, discussion groups, etc.
Edmodo: It is a free educational social platform which enables communication between students and teachers. It provides an easy and safe way to create a collaborative and connect classroom. Teachers can share content, homework and grades with their students.
Nicenet: It is website as a virtual course; that helps teachers to share their lesson plan, calendar of activities, also, it is use to send and receive messages. It promotes communication because students can participate in forums and read documents. Students can send homework and interchange opinions between teachers and partners.
